South Scotland

The South Scotland region of the Scottish Parliament covers a massive area of Scotland.

In the north, the region takes in Dunbar and North Berwick in East Lothian and stretches across to Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire.

From there, the boundary follows the coastline in the east and the west before running along the border with England.

Speaking to people from communities across the region there are many similar themes which emerge.  People are concerned for the future, about getting or keeping their jobs and about being able to access opportunities.

These are the issues I am working on as part of a South Scotland team and I am keen to engage with people across the region.
